| OFFSHORE DEVELOPMENT |
At Libra we are well versed with the issues constraining the success of offshore projects and our systems ensure that our delivery standard doesn't get affected in any case. To achieve this, we place a great deal of emphasis handling large projects:

Project updation and client communication |
Project Progress Reports |
Documentation |
1. Project updation and client communication
Whenever an international project starts at Libra Interactive Learning Pvt. Ltd. we provide a Toll Free Number to our clients using that number our clients from USA and Canada can communicate directly with our Project Director without making international calls from their end.
For any of our projects under initiation, a team is assigned the project that comprises team members involved in the production and client communication. We designate a senior member of our management as the Project Director who forms the single point contact for all client communication. He is supported by another Project Manager who takes the charge of production and also communication with the client in case of a period of absence on the part of the Project Director.
Apart from that we use any of the Instant Messengers and chatting services from (AOL, MSN and Yahoo) to communicate online. The transcripts are also preserved and then mailed so that a record of the communication is kept at both ends.
2. Project Progress Reports
Once a project starts, we set dates for Project Progress Reports as project milestones. Usually the progress reports are sent on weekly basis that are sent out every Friday and all deliverables for a month are sent by the 30th of the month.
A monthly report detailing the progress on various stages is sent on the 5th day of every month. In case if 5th is the holiday, we send the reports on the next working day. The report contains:
Tasks undertaken in the previous month |
Any deviations of project specifications from those originally proposed |
Comments problem areas along with proposed suggestions |
List of queries waiting for client response |
Estimated completion and delivery dates of project modules or any deviations thereof are also mentioned |
Billing and payment status |
| |
3. Documentation
Each project has a set of milestones and deliverables associated with these milestones, the responsibility is shared at both ends that includes the client as well as project development team. These milestones are set at the beginning of any project execution so that there is well defined and clear process of working and communication.
Each and every milestone achieved is documented and the client is informed at regular intervals. Quality parameters and acceptance criteria are also decided and documented for the various deliverables and phases of the project. Parameters for fault rectification and rework are also clearly established.
